In TNF-α/IFN-γ-stimulated HaCaT keratinocytes, a Torilis japonica extract-GHK-Cu complex (not GHK-Cu alone) was evaluated for effects on Th2-associated chemokine expression. The combination reduced transcript levels of IL-4, IL-5, IL-10, and IL-13 and decreased expression of TARC (CCL17) and CTACK (CCL27) relative to individual treatments. Radical-scavenging activity and keratinocyte migration were also assessed in this in vitro system [1].
